Instructions to change your banner PIN
The first time you log onto banner you will need to change your password.
To log on:
Enter your 800 number You can find this on your ID card.

Enter your default
PIN (It should your birth-date (if we have your date of birth on record) in the form of MMDDYY.:
MM is the two-digit month of your birth.
DD is the two-digit day of your birth.
YY is the last two digits of the year of your birth.
Follow the steps in the next section to reset your
PIN.
If you know your current PIN, log in using your Banner ID number (800 number) and current PIN.

Select “Personal Information”

Enter your old (current)
PIN. Then enter your new
PIN twice.

Note: Your
PIN must be six to fifteen characters long (no hyphens, dashes or slashes) and should be something you can easily remember. For security purposes, your
PIN should not be your name and should contain both letters and numbers. Please note that your
PIN is case sensitive.
After you enter your new
PIN select “Change
PIN”
Enter your 800 number. You can find this on your ID card.

Select “Forgotten/Disabled
PIN?”

You will then be prompted to answer the security question you created when you first set up your account.
If you answered the security question correctly you will then be asked to create a new
PIN. You will use this
PIN to access banner from now on.
If you do not know the answer or did not answer the security question correctly, select “I forgot my answer, reset my
PIN automatically”

Your
PIN has been reset. Log onto your campus email account (netID@brockport.edu) and follow the steps provided.
