File Sharing/Utilities

FileBrowser - Volume Purchase App - Allows the connection of the iPad to Filecity and Filecity2 shares. Requires set up information from LITS.

VMware – Free App from the App Store. Allows you to connect to and use campus
software from off campus locations using the iPad.

Word Processing and Note Keeping

Quickoffice – Volume Purchase App. Has iPad versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to open PDF documents.


Printing

iPad wireless printing is not yet available on campus. For information regarding printing to a personal computer, refer to the iPad User Guide Chapter 3.


Presentation/Conferencing

Doceri – Free app. Screencasting, desktop control, and an interactive whiteboard all in one app. Also requires Doceri installation on the companion PC. For a list of Doceri-ready rooms, click here.



Calendaring

Calendar sharing on iPad is not yet available.


Fillable Forms/Surveys

Adobe Reader - Free app. See: forms.brockport.edu to create and manage your own online forms.
