Within the next few semesters select Labs at Brockport will be getting new HP All-In-One PCs. These computers have an incredible all-in-one design that is both space-efficient and super-fast. Phasing out of the old systems will begin in the Spring of 2014 where the Technology Services Department will be hard at work bringing students up-to-date technology for their work.
The Student Learning Center in Cooper has seen some All-In-Ones already setup. These powerful computers are Dell Optiplex 9010’s with essentially the same specifications except with 250gb HDDs.
Microsoft Office 2013will be one of the many programs added to Brockport's Labs in the next few semesters. This upgraded software package is sleeker, faster, and easier to use than any of it's predecessors. It includes increased Cloud capabilities (SkyDrive), more templates, easier file sharing, and much much more. Office 2013 is sure to help students make better looking presentations, increase their data analysis powers, and write their papers more efficiently.
