Download Software from UB Micro

L.I.T.S. is pleased to announce that The College at Brockport has expanded its campus agreement with Microsoft. Students can now download one copy of Microsoft Office for either Mac or Windows for only $19.95 from UBMicro! (https://www.ubmicrosuny.com/)
In order to download Microsoft Office from UBMicro, click on the products tab on the top, scroll down to software, and choose downloadable software. From here, you will be asked to create a UBMicro customer account using a valid brockport.edu e-mail address.
Once your account is created, you can log-in to select your compatible version of Microsoft Office. Students will see that both Windows 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available. In order to find out which version is best for you, follow these steps if you are running Windows 7 or Vista:

Start menu
Right-click on "Computer"
Select "Properties"
Under "System" it will tell you which system type you are running.

Upon completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation e-mail followed by an e-mail that includes the download link. Click the download link and save the software installer to your computer. Once this download completes, you can install Microsoft Office. **Uninstall any trial versions of Office that may be on your computer before attempting to install the software.**
Notes: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for Windows includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with Business Contact Manager, OneNote, Publisher, Access, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace, and Communicator. Office 2011 for Mac includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
