“Being a part of an LLC was one of the best decisions I have made in regards to my college experience. Joining an LLC is so helpful in terms of meeting new people because you are part of a community that frequently works together. Because you get together for LLC meetings and events, you get to know your community much faster than if you were not a part of an LLC. I joined the Creative Artists LLC because when looking at my hobbies and clubs from high school, most of them involved things like singing, writing, acting, and dancing. The Creative Artists LLC consists of so many different kinds of people from dance majors to chemistry majors but we all love the arts. By being a part of this LLC I have been able to see stage shows, visit amazing art museums and even be a part of a flash mob which I had always wanted to do. I believe that every incoming Brockport Freshman should consider joining an LLC. They are full of opportunities to try new things and meet wonderful people who share your interests. "

- Valerie Mostyn, Psychology Major, Class of 2015
