Creative Artists- For Returning and Transfer Students

The Creative Artists LLC is for first year students that have majors in the arts, Humanities and Social Sciences or have an interest in the arts. Students will be encouraged to develop their chosen medium of art through workshops, field trips, in hall displays and exploratory activities.

Activities and Field Trips Include:
  • Open Mic Night & Talent Shows
  • Creative Writing Workshops
  • Scrapbooking
  • Photo Contests
  • Trips to Music and Theatre Productions
  • Memorial Art Gallery trips
  • Rochester Public Market

Examples of Programs include:

  • Writer's Forum
  • Arts & Crafts Nights
  • Canvas Painting
  • Art Museums
  • Flash Mob
  • The Lion King at Shea's Buffalo
  • The Nutcracker at Memorial Auditorium
  • Scrapbooking
  • Paint Dance
  • Open Mic Night!

Encouraged to Apply: Students in this LLC should enjoy the arts; drawing, dance, theatre, music, creative writing, etc. If you have a major in a creative discipline, you are encouraged to apply, but students from all majors are welcome.
