Health and Fitness- For Returning and Transfer Students

The Health & Fitness Learning Community (LLC) in Mortimer Hall is for returning and transfer students who have majors related to health, helping professions and fitness. The community will utilize the Mortimer Health Club and offer fitness-related activities. This community will work closely with the following first-year LLCs: Recreation & Fitness, Future Health Professionals and Nursing Intent.
Activities and Field Trips Include:
  • Tandem Bike rides on the Erie Canal
  • High Ropes Course
  • Panels of students in Health related majors
  • In hall Tutoring
  • Community service opportunities
  • Rochester Amerk’s Hockey Games
  • High Ropes course
  • Adventure Challenges (high ropes course, laser tag, etc.)

Dr. Lauren Lieberman took students on a five mile bike ride to Holley Falls along the Erie Canal. Many students rode tandem bikes for the first time!
