Health & FitnessA Community for Continuing Students |
In Fall 2009, we started a Living Learning Community called "Health & Fitness." The community was going well and attracted students with many interests and personalities. Students joined from dance, athletic training, health science, nursing, physical education, and sport management, to name a few - plus there were students who were just interested in living a healthy lifestyle. Because of high interest, the Health & Fitness LLC will move to Mortimer hall and house returning and transfer students with these interests/majors.
The Health & Fitness Living Learning Community is designed for returning and high-credit transfer students who want to live a healthy, fitness-focused lifestyle and will have access to the Mortimer Health Club. They can be major-related or just adventure enthusiasts who might enjoy intramural sports or seeing local teams play (like the Rochester Americans or Rhinos).
