Math & Science 2A Community for Continuing Students |
The MSLC promotes career exploration through faculty and alumni partnerships and internship fairs. As students grow and continue on in the Math & Science LLC, they will have the opportunity to create a capstone project to leave a lasting mark on the campus - whether this takes the form of a sundial or a kinetic machine is up to the students as they progress through their years on campus. In a residence hall atmosphere that is focused on achievement and success, you will receive academic support from faculty and from each other in the form of study groups in the MSLC lounge. |
| The Math & Science Learning Community (MSLC) is designed for continuing and transfer students with 25 or more credits studying: |

"My favorite part of the community is how constructive it is. Without the academically-focused living environment, I would have great difficulty succeeding in my harder classes." - Molly Stetz |

"Having study groups with people that I’m close to really takes the stress away sometimes: we laugh, have fun and are always finding new ways to learn." - Samantha LeClerc

"It helps so much when you have people taking the same classes as you living right down the hall. You can literally discuss coursework at any time of the day, every day." - Glenn McKeever |

"There is simply no comparison to being immersed in a new, strange environment but still being surrounded by people with similar interests. Knowing that everyone around you is going through the same thing makes the transition into college life so much easier. Without MSLC I know I wouldn't have fallen in love with Brockport as quickly as I did. This community has become my family and I know that they would support me through thick and thin. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything." - Damiene Denner |
