Teachers of Tomorrow

The Teachers of Tomorrow LLC is for first-year students who plan to apply for any teacher certification program. This LLC will focus on current events in education, how to apply for teacher certification programs, résumé building and developing students’ teaching abilities. Students in this LLC should expect a hands-on experience and interaction with faculty and staff.

Activities and Field Trips Include:

Monthly film series
Resume building
Faculty presentations on applying to The Education Program
Career exploration

Trips to The Strong National Museum of Play
Study Abroad presentations
Mini Conference for Future Educators
Community service opportunities

Being among other freshmen with similar interests helps to break down barriers and form quick friendships that I expect will last me well beyond graduation. Encouraged to Apply: Students who are interested in pursuing a career in Education. This Community will help prepare students from all majors prepare to apply for the Education Program for Teacher Certification.
