Assistant Professor Vacancy:
Tenure-track
assistant professorship in the Department of Mathematics beginning
August 2013. Required: Earned doctorate in Mathematics, Applied
Mathematics or Statistics. Demonstrated expertise in Statistics and/or
Actuarial Mathematics. Applicants are expected to have a strong
commitment to teaching introductory, advanced undergraduate, and
graduate courses. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester assuming
an active research program. Candidates must have evidence of the
ability to carry out research and be able to work with a diverse
population. Some preference may be given to candidates whose research
