Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2004 (Adviser: Nigel Boston)

Specialization: Algebra and Number Theory

Professional experience: Postdoctoral appointment at Texas A&M University from Fall 2004 until Spring 2007; Visiting Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the summers of 2009 and 2010

• On the conjectures of Atiyah and Sutcliffe  (joint work with M. Mazur) to appear in Geometriae Dedicata; see also p. 10

• Addendum to “Generalizations of Arnold’s version of Euler’s theorem for matrices” (joint work with M. Mazur) 

• On the smallest number of generators and the probability of generating an algebra (joint work with R. Kravchenko and M. Mazur)  to appear in Algebra and Number Theory Journal; see also p. 30

• Generalizations of Arnold’s version of Euler’s theorem for matrices (joint work with M. Mazur)

• Separable algebras over infinite fields are 2-generated and finitely presented (joint work with M. Mazur)

• On pairs of matrices generating matrix rings and their presentations (joint work with S.N. Sidki)
