The Comprehensive Examination is given two weeks after the fall semester ends, two weeks after the spring semester ends, or in August. It is based on the three core courses in Algebra, Analysis, and Applied Mathematics/Statistics included in the candidate's Plan of Study.
The exams are subject to these rules:
- An oral follow-up exam may be required in the case of inconclusive results, and
- The exams may be taken only twice.
