Contacting Instructors

How do I get in touch with my instructor?

  • The best way to find out how to contact your instructor is to refer to your course syllabus.  Instructors will list contact information on these.  Every MetroCenter instructor has a mailbox at the MetroCenter.  You are welcome to leave a written message in her/his mailbox, or if you call the MetroCenter we will write your message down and leave it in the mailbox.  You can also use this online campus directory.

May I leave a message on my instructor's voice mail?

  • When you call the MetroCenter number the phone will be answered either by a MetroCenter staff person or MetroCenter voice mail.  MetroCenter instructors do not have individual voice mail boxes at the MetroCenter.  If you decide to leave a message for your instructor, we will write the message down and it will be placed in your instructor's mailbox.  Instructors are encouraged to check their mailboxes whenever they are at the MetroCenter.

Where is my instructor's office?

  • Due to limited space, faculty do not have individual offices.  If an instructor needs to meet with students individually, he or she can request office space by contacting the MetroCenter facility coordinator.
