Brockport Conesus Watershed Project Featured in National Journal
Brockport, NY – A six-year-long study of the Conesus Lake watershed led by Joseph Makarewicz, PhD, distinguished professor of environmental science and biology at The College at Brockport, State University of New York, was included in the National Water Program Impact Report published by the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service National Water Program (CSREES).
The on going study is designed to evaluate the impact of “best management practices” on the soil and nutrient loss from the watershed area surrounding Conesus Lake.
