Brockport Auxiliary Service Corporation Reexamines Mission

Campus Services Provider Sports New Logo

Press Release Photo

Brockport, NY – Over the past year, The Brockport Auxiliary Service Corporation (BASC) has taken a close look at who they are, what they do, and how they do it.

As a result of its self-exploration process, the 501 C(3) organization, which is contracted by the College to provide and manage dining, the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, catering, laundry, parking, vending services, and campus ID services, has developed a refreshed mission, vision, and statement of values.

A new logo is the most outwardly visible sign of the organization’s rededication to service. Students, faculty, and staff are seeing the new icon – stylized green branches, gold leaves, and a black trunk – in dining halls, and on publications throughout campus. The tree represents BASC as part of the greater College community, its commitment to sustainability and stewardship of resources, and to providing sustenance for the community through its services. It also reflects the organization’s mission to support the strategic initiatives of the College and its vision to provide a positive experience each time its staff interacts with the campus community.

You can learn more about the Brockport Auxiliary Service Corporation at www.basc1.com.
