The College at Brockport Hosts Summer Leadership Program

Program develops leadership qualities
in young women.

Young women attend Leadership Conference at The College at Brockport.

Brockport, NY--This summer, The College at Brockport unveiled the pilot program, Leadership Academy for Girls. The one-week program ran July 19 - 25 and gave teen girls ages 12 - 15 a residential college experience designed to help them develop more self-awareness, self-confidence, and a strong sense of personal vision and values--all important aspects of success in school and life.

The girls had the opportunity to experience various educational, recreational and team-building activities while living on campus in a typical college environment.
