Class of '59 and '09 Carry Tradition

Class of '59 Hartwell Society

Members of the Class of '59 continued the College at Brockport tree planting tradition as Homecoming Weekend '09 began on Thursday (Sept. 24). Representatives of the most recent graduating class of '09 completed the annual event, officially planting their Locust tree next to the class of 59's tree.

College President John R. Halstead welcomed all to "celebrate this great Brockport tradition" before joining '59ers Judy Stoneham Wadsworth, Barbara Baker Quinn and Joe Bellanca and '09ers Tiffany Collazo, Kevin Speer and Christine Walker at the ceremonial shovels.
