Brockport alumni from 45 companies ranging from Abbott to Xerox were on campus to share business tips and techniques with current students.

Morning and early afternoon workshop topics provided helpful guidance in areas such as "interviewing basics," "making connections," "college to career," and "effective networking." The program concluded with a "networking session" where current and former students talked about their collective next steps.

"It (Career Connection) has been very informative. I feel like I�ll be miles ahead when I start job hunting," said senior Steve Surdi, a junior marketing major.

"Today has been very helpful," said Brian Pepper, also a senior marketing major who attended several workshops during the day, as well as the afternoon networking session. "It really helps making connections," he added.
