BOCES Facilities Tech Students Take Behind the Scenes Tour

Eleven students enrolled in the facilities technology program at BOCES #1 Fairport had an up close and personal look at some of the College’s heating and cooling hardware on Thursday (Nov. 19).

Bob Hofstra, director of utilities and energy in the Division of Facilities and Planning, served as tour guide. The students, who will complete the five month program in December, visited the heating and cooling facility for the Allen Administration Building and the Drake Memorial Library, the ice rink cooling system in Tuttle North and the College’s energy management system in the Commissary.
