Student Leaders Recognized

Annual Student Leadership Award Ceremony

Brockport, NY—Student leaders at The College at Brockport, State University of New York, were recognized for their year-long achievements on April 26 at the annual Student Leadership Award Ceremony.

The event recognized students for a variety of achievements at the College, including those named to the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, recipients of the Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence, and the Marion Schrank Student Leadership Award.

In addition, more than 100 students received a "Green Leadership Certificate" for the Leadership Development Program. The program, in its inaugural year, fosters student leaders as they develop skills through a variety of workshops, mentor meetings and an annual conference.

The evening culminated with a speech by the Marion Schrank Student Leadership Award recipient, Damian Flint.
