Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport, State University of New York, was ranked 67th among regional universities in the North region in the just-released 2011 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” guide, an exclusive ranking of more than 1,400 schools nationwide.
“We’re honored that The College at Brockport has once again been recognized on the US News & World Report list. In these challenging economic times it is gratifying to have these rankings reflect the investment and continual improvement we make as we focus on student success and earning national recognition," said Anne E. Huot, PhD, The College at Brockport’s provost and vice president for academic affairs.
The US News staff ranks colleges based on, among other categories, the academic profile of incoming students, graduation rates, percentage of alumni who donate to their alma maters and the school’s reputation among peers.
Next week (8/27) The College at Brockport will welcome its 2010 freshman class who check in with a 90.8 average high school GPA.
