The College at Brockport was ranked among Kiplinger's “100 Best Values in Public Colleges,” a list that ranks schools based on a combination of top-flight academics and affordable costs.
The College at Brockport came in 78th on the list that included a total of 11 SUNY institutions.
"We’re very proud that another national publication, Kiplinger's, once again has recognized the outstanding value and quality of each and every student's educational experiences at The College at Brockport. It’s a reflection of the commitment and hard work of our students, faculty and staff who, working together, make student success our number one mission--and at an extremely affordable price," said College President John Halstead.
"Having so many SUNY campuses recognized for academic quality and affordability is most reassuring and I congratulate the campus presidents, faculty students and staff for this prestigious national recognition," said SUNY Interim Chancellor John B. Clark
According to Kiplinger’s, “Schools that top Kiplinger's 100 Best Values in Public Colleges are noteworthy for their combination of top-flight academics and affordable costs. Our emphasis on academic strength is reflected in our scoring, academic quality measurements carry more weight than costs (almost two-thirds of the total).”
