The Department of Nursing
is located in Tuttle North. Within this building are classrooms for small
and large group study, the Nursing Resource Center, faculty offices and
the campus indoor recreation facilities, including a 50-meter pool, six
gymnasia, power lifting and weight training rooms, squash and racquetball
courts and more.
The Nursing Resource Center contains 23 computer terminals, interactive video instructional equipment with 19 programs, numerous computer-assisted instruction programs and videotapes, and a fully equipped nursin-skills laboratory.
The Department of Nursing
is conveniently located near the Drake Memorial Library where an extensive collection of nursing literature and audiovisual material
is readily accessible. In addition to the ever-growing collecion of books
and periodicals, the library has a collection of original materials in
microfilm, a government documents section, and a special materials collection.
The library's open-stack policy gives students direct access to books
and bound periodicals.
