Nancy Iafrati, MSN, RN

 Ms. Iafrati is a graduate of SUNY Brockport (BSN, 1977) and the University of Rochester (MS in Nursing, 1984) and received a Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner (St.John Fisher College, 1997). She came to Brockport in 1984 and presently works part-time in the Department of Nursing teaching critical care nursing in the classroom and clinical setting with senior nursing students and part-time as a nurse practitioner in the Student Health Center. In June 2006, she did a poster presentation at the American College Health Association’s Annual Convention  in NYC on the “Use of the Student Health Center and Counseling Center by Non-returning Freshmen.”

Ms. Iafrati is active in legislative and political issues both locally and state-wide and is chairperson for Genesee Valley Nurses Association Legislative Committee. She received the New York States' Nurses Association Legislative Award in 1996 and serves as the Legislative District Coordinator for Senate District #54. She lives in Greece, NY with her husband, Mike and two children, Laura and Christopher.
