I am a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (BS in Biology, 1998) after which I worked in biotechnology before earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2000) and Master of Science in Nursing (2004) from the University of Rochester. I hold a position at Starlight Pediatrics (formerly known as Foster Care Pediatrics) as a pediatric nurse practitioner caring exclusively for children and teens in foster care.
I am currently working on my doctorate in Health Practice Research at the University of Rochester, School of Nursing. My research interests are in the area of foster care, foster parenting and child maltreatment.
I teach senior level students in the pediatric clinical setting and senior capstone seminar.
