NURSING RESOURCE CENTER :

The nursing recourse center is located in Tuttle North, Room 230 & 231. Audio-visual equipment and the practice laboratory are located in these room.

  1. Role of the Laboratory Assistant:
    • To assist you in setting up AV materials.
    • To help you locate needed supplies.
    • To remind you to treat the resource center materials carefully.
  2. Rules:
    • NO SMOKING! Our films and supplies are costly. Also “Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health.”
    • Rewind tapes, filmstrips, films and replace them.
    • Put away all equipment (do not throw out dressing supplies, etc.). They need to be reused.
    • Tidy up before leaving (don’t leave beds unmade, clean off the countertop, etc.).
    • Equipment, supplies and printed material should not be removed from the resource center.
    • Absolutely no eating or drinking near the computers.
  3. Nursing Resource Center Schedule: The schedule of hours when the laboratory will be open will be posted as soon as possible at the beginning of each semester. Check the bulletin board for this information.
  4. Computers are available for student use.
