Sigma Theta Tau - Omicron Beta Chapter

Our students are our greatest asset in the Department of Nursing. They come from around New York state and either start here as freshmen or transfers from nearby community colleges. Many of them stay here and work after graduation.

Celebrating student success, Grace Dengler accepted the Region West and State-wide Outstanding Adult Student award at the CEANY Annual Awards Banquet in West Point NY, November 11, 2010. Along with an awards plaque, Ms. Dengler received a $1100 student scholarship. Grace's family, husband Eric, and children Brianna (9), Kayla (6) and Ethan (4), joined in the celebration. Professor Zara Brenner nominated Grace as a Rochester Area College Continuing Education (RACCE) outstanding adult student award in SP '10.
