The
SUNY Brockport campus is situated in the Village of Brockport, New York,
16 miles west of Rochester and 60 miles east of Buffalo. It is directly
accessible by car and bus, and is within a short distance of air and train
service.
Most
visitors to the College travel by car. From New York City, Long Island,
Albany, Binghamton and points east,
there are four basic routes:
Thruway: Travel west to Exit #47 (LeRoy-Brockport exit) From
the exit, proceed north 12 miles on Rt. 19 to Brockport.
Rt. 17 and I-81: Follow Rt. 17 north of New York City to Binghamton;
go north on I-81 to Syracuse, then west on the Thruway to Exit #47 (leRoy-Brockport
exit). From the exit, proceed north 12 miles on Rt. 19 to Brockport.
Rt. 17 West: Follow Rt. 17 north of New York City to I-390; go
north on I-390 to Rochester; take I-490 west to the Spencerport exit;
follow signs to Rt. 531. Take Rt. 531 to the end.
Turn right on Washington Street to Rt. 31. Turn left on
Rt. 31; follow it 3 miles to Brockport.
Interstates 95, 80 and 81: Cross the George Washington Bridge on I-95 to I-80.
Proceed west to I-390, which skirts Scranton. Follow I-81 to Syracuse,
and then west on the Thruway to Exit #47 (LeRoy-Brockport exit) From the
exit, proceed north 12 miles on Rt. 19 to Brockport.
From Points West: The Thruway is the most direct route from the Buffalo
area. Proceed east on the Thruway to Exit #47 (LeRoy-Brockport exit) From
the exit, proceed north 12 miles on Rt. 19 to Brockport.
