Greetings NYSSA participants!
On behalf of the New York State Sociological Association and the Departments of Criminal Justice and Sociology, and Schools of Professions and Letters and Sciences at the State University of New York College at Brockport, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend and present papers at the 54 th Annual Sociological Association meeting. This year’s conference will be held on the scenic SUNY Brockport campus. We are arranging for two fantastic speakers for our conference. Details to be announced soon.
The general theme of “The Future is Now: Global Sociology” certainly does not limit papers to this area — all relevant subjects from sociology and the social sciences are welcomed and encouraged. Since this is the first mass mailing for the conference, it is important that you remember to submit your paper proposals as soon as possible.
As a word of caution, do not wait until the last moment to secure a hotel room. Directions to the campus are available at our Web site. Registration and conference fees are payable by check or money order made out to NYSSA 2005. Cash will be accepted onsite. Credit cards can not be accepted.
