  • Interim Program Coordinator: Jennifer St. John
  • Staff Assistants: Edwina Billings and Frank Zona

The Office for Assessment and Testing is responsible for the administration of the Computer Skills Exam, the Foreign Language Placement Exam, critical thinking assessments, and proctoring of distance exams. All scheduled exams are adminstered in Drake Library - Room 53.

We provide exam preparation support for the Computer Skills Exam in a number of ways including online modules with practice files and video tutorials, an online Practice Exam, and individual tutoring by request. The skills that students gain in preparing for this exam will help them in formatting papers, reports and presentations as students here at Brockport and as they move into their careers.

Current Brockport students may register for either the Computer Skills Exam or the Foreign Language Placement Exam by logging into ANGEL, selecting the appropriate exam under the Exam Registration area, and following the steps to register. Exam schedules are normally posted two weeks prior to the start of a semester.

We currently provide proctoring services by appointment for students taking online college courses either through SLN or other colleges. Please contact our office for more information about this service.
