Please note: this schedule is not comprehensive - it is intended to give you an overview of our Parent/Family program and what to expect. You will be given a detailed schedule when you arrive on day one.

Summer Orientation, Day One

11 am - 2 pm

•          All families participating in Summer Orientation check in at McFarlane Hall with their student
•          Walking Tour of Campus (optional)
•          Lunch is available ala carte (optional)

11 am - noon

•          Delta College Meet & Greet - Student Learning Center, Cooper Hall
•          (June 27 only) Honors Program Meet & Greet - New York Room, Cooper Hall

12:30 - 1:30 pm

•          Extraordinary Scholarship Recipient Orientation (by invitation only) - New York Room, Cooper Hall

2:15 pm

•          University Welcome - Mainstage Theatre, Tower

2:45 - 6 pm

•          Workshop: Your Student’s Health & Safety - Mainstage Theatre, Tower
•          Workshop: Getting Savvy with the Millennial Generation - Mainstage Theatre, Tower

6 pm

•          Dinner (for ticket-holders) - Ballroom, Seymour College Union

7:45 - 8:30 pm

•          Alumni Association Dessert Reception, Townhomes Community Center

8:30 - 9:30 pm

•          Student Panel - Townhomes Community Center

Summer Orientation, Day Two

8-8:50 am

•          Workshop Session One - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union

9 - 10 am

•          Brunch (for ticket-holders) - Ballroom, Seymour College Union

10:10 am - noon

•          Workshop Session Two - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union
•          Workshop Session Three - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union

11:15 - 12:30 pm

•       Information Fair - Main Lounge, Seymour College Union

7 am - 2 pm

•          Townhome check-out

Noon - 2 pm

•       Online tutorial for the College's various information systems (optional) - Basement, Seymour College Union
