Please note: this schedule is not comprehensive - it is intended to give you an overview of our Parent/Family program and what to expect. You will be given a detailed schedule when you arrive on day one.

Summer Orientation, Day One

10 am - 2 pm

•          All families participating in Summer Orientation check in at MacVicar Hall with their student
•          Walking Tour of Campus (optional)
•          Lunch is available ala carte at the Union Square food court(optional)

11 am - 12:30 pm

•          Delta College Meet & Greet - C5 Cooper Hall
•          (July 1 only) Honors Program Meet & Greet - New York Room, Cooper Hall

12:30 - 1:30 pm

•          Extraordinary Scholarship Recipient Orientation (by invitation only) - New York Room, Cooper Hall

2:15 pm

•          University Welcome - Mainstage Theatre, Tower

2:45 - 9:30 pm

•          Workshop: Your Student’s Health & Safety - Mainstage Theatre, Tower
•          Workshop: Getting Savvy with the Millennial Generation - Mainstage Theatre, Tower
•       Dinner (for ticket-holders) - Ballroom, Seymour College Union     
•          Student Panel - Townhomes Community Center

 

Summer Orientation, Day Two

8 am - noon         

•  Workshop Session One - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union  
•  Breakfast (for ticket-holders) - Ballroom, Seymour College Union
•  Information Fair- Ballroom, Seymour College Union
  
•   Workshop Session Two - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union
•   Workshop Session Three - Various Rooms, Seymour College Union
