Jun graduated from The Kyung Hee University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Physical Education and Sport Management. He received a degree of Master of Science in Sport Management from The Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2007. He received a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Management from The Florida State University in August 2013. He has published in academic journals such as Journal of Sport Management, European Sport Management Quarterly, Sport Management Review, Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports, Event Management An International Journal, and Economics Bulletins. His works have been presented at academic conferences, such as North American Society for Sport Management, Sport Marketing Association, North American Society for the Sociology of Sport, and New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports. His primary research interests lie in sport consumer behavior, such as satisfaction, team sponsorship alliances, motivation and commitment, and emotions and counterfactual thinking. He is also interested in bridging the gap between theory construction and model assessment. He is currently an assistant professor of Sport Management in the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies and Physical Education at The State University of New York at Brockport.
