Dr. William J. Morgan's Lecture on "The Moral Folly of the Performance-Enhancing Drug Wars in Elite Sports” -
Monday, September 18 2006 at 7:00 PM

 The Department of Physical Education and Sport and the Physical Education Majors Club cordially invite you to a lecture by Dr. William J. Morgan, Professor of Sport and Exercise Humanities and Interim Director of the Sport and Citizenship Centerat The Ohio State University.
 
Dr. Morgan is an internationally known scholar.  He has written extensively on the ethics and philosophy of sport, on social and political philosophy, and critical social theory.  He is the author of Why Sports Morally Matter, Leftist Theories of Sport: A Critique and Reconstruction, and editor of several sport ethics and philosophy of sport anthologies, including the soon to be released second edition of Ethics in Sport.  He was also a former editor of the Journal of the Philosophy of Sport, a past president of the Philosophic Society for the Study of Sport, and a recipient of its Distinguished Scholar Award.

Dr. Morgan’s lecture entitled The Moral Folly of the Performance-Enhancing Drug Wars in Elite Sports will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 18 in the west end of Seymour Union Ballroom, and is open to the Brockport community.
