Certification in Athletic Training

The Board of Certification (BOC) requires that all candidates seeking certification meet the following criteria:

Successfully complete a CAATE accredited athletic training program
Complete two years of clinical practical experience (four semesters) under the supervision of a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
Possess current First Aid and CPR/AED (Professional Rescuer).
Possess a bachelor's degree.
