The Kinesiology major and all the concentrations are accredited by Middle States and are approved programs by the NYS Department of Education. In addition, the Teacher Certification concentration is accredited by NCATE and the Athletic Training concentration is accredited by CAATE. Cost of the Program
Each student accepted into the Professional Portion of the Athletic Training Major will be responsible for costs in addition to normal student tuition and fees. A summary of those costs are listed below: However, this list is neither exhaustive nor exclusive to all financial obligations:
- Books and required note packets
- Physical examination and inoculation costs
- Transportation to off-campus affiliated clinical sites – typically in the senior year
- Required uniform costs (~$200)
- Personal liability insurance (~$21/semester)
