Note:  BIO 221 and PES 335 will determine entry into PES 410 (and the Exercise Physiology Major)

 

Exercise Physiology Major – Acceptance Criteria

All students can declare the intent to major in exercise physiology.  However, in order to register for PES 410 (Advanced Exercise Physiology), students must have taken > 12 credits at the College at Brockport with at least a 2.50 overall GPA and at least a C grade in BIO 221 and PES 335.  (The instructor for PES 410 will be sure that each student is qualified to be in the class). 

In order to qualify for the internship exit interview, students must get a C or better in all courses in the major and have at least a 2.50 GPA in the major.

Note:  transition students will be held to the GPA criteria, but if PES 410 has already been completed at the time of transition, that course will not need to be repeated.
