The Kinesiology major and all the concentrations are accredited by Middle States and are approved programs by the NYS Department of Education. In addition, the Teacher Certification concentration is accredited by NCATE and the Athletic Training concentration is accredited by CAATE. The Student Teacher Assessments can now be completed online by School-Based Teacher Educators (SBTE). This is being done to facilitate timely completion, accuracy, and efficiency of the assessments. In addition, since the assessment data will enter into the Professional Education Unit's database, we will be able to produce reports combining the data with other assessment data and candidate information.
