Biography
In addition to teaching for the Department of Political Science and International Studies, Christopher Price is the Director of Brockport's Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. As both a teacher and a faculty development professional, Dr.Price is interested helping to implement learner-centered teaching methods across the curriculum. To do this, he advocates for and employs a democratic pedagogy to empower students to take responsibility for their own learning. He has also presented and written about how the power-balanced classroom can serve as a means of citizen education.
