Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarships
for Freshmen and Sophomores

The Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science (PMACS) Scholarship Program, with support from the National Science Foundation, has been supporting 25 Freshman and Sophomores majoring in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science with $5400/year scholarships for the past four years (2008-2012). The present program has been very successful, with over 90% of scholars continuing on to their junior year and being eligible for our upper division BPMACS Scholarship Program.

We have applied to the NSF for continued funding for this program for an additional four year (2012 - 2016). Because of our successful program we are optimistic about continued funding. Unfortunately, the NSF will not make their decision until January or February of 2012. At this time we are not taking applications for Fall 2012, but we will reactivate the website and start taking applications if our program is supported for Fall 2012.
