MPA General
Curriculum
All students must complete 27 credits in MPA core courses. Preservice students must also complete a six-credit internship (PAD 694). Inservice* students must complete five elective courses, including a computer-related course. Preservice students must complete four electives, including a computer-related course.

PAD 688 Research and Evaluation
PAD 694 Internship, 6 credits (Preservice students only must complete
this 6-credit internship)
PAD 696 Project Paper / Portfolio Seminar
Elective Courses:
Inservice students must complete a total of 15 elective
credits, including one course with computer content. Preservice students
must complete a total of 12 elective credits, including one course
with computer content. Electives must be approved by your faculty
advisor.

*Inservice status requires a minimum of two years of experience in either administrative, managerial, or professional work (in a position that requires a baccalaureate degree) in an organizational context. Inservice students require a total of 42 credits to complete the MPA degree. Preservice students require 45 credits. Your status is determined at admission.
