PAA is the national honorary society for the field of public affairs and administration.  The purpose of PAA is to encourage and recognize accomplishment in public affairs and administration, foster integrity, professionalism and effective performance in the conduct of government and related public service activities. Established in 1974, the society has grown significantly. Currently there are 99 chapters and more than 15,000 members have been inducted.

Students will be invited to join the Brockport chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha if they meet eligibility requirements upon graduation from the MPA program. Nomination requires matriculated MPA students to have completed at least 30 credits in the program and have attained at least a 3.70 cumulative GPA.

Questions may be directed to Anne Marie Canale at acanale@brockport.edu.
