MPA Degree Requirements: The College at Brockport

To receive the MPA, students must fulfill the following requirements within a seven-year period from the time of matriculation into the program. Extensions are rare, but may be requested under extenuating circumstances.

Complete 42 graduate credits.
Complete PAD 696 Portfolio.
Attain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (a grade of “B” or better). Failure to maintain this cumulative average will result in dismissal from the program.
Two courses with a C grade or one course with an E grade will result in dismissal from the program. The Portfolio Seminar is graded pass/fail. One fail is allowed, however a second fail will result in dismissal.
No course may be repeated, except for the Portfolio Seminar which may be repeated once.
