Dr. A. Gidget Hopf

Dr. Hopf is President and CEO of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes and its affiliate The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired-Goodwill Industries of Greater Rochester. She serves as a Board member of Goodwill Industries International where she sits on the Executive Committee as its Vice Chair, the NY State Vision Rehabilitation Association, and also serves as Vice Chair for Public Policy and Communications for the Board of the National Association for the Employment of People who are Blind. She was named Not for Profit Executive of the Year by her community in 2009. Dr. Hopf will speak on providing quality tuition-free education for adult students in Rochester. RSVP to

Mr. Robert J. Duffy

Rochester native Robert J. Duffy began as Rochester Business Alliance president and Chief Executive Officer January 1, 2015. Prior to working for RBA, Mr. Duffy served as New York lieutenant governor in Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration from January 2011 to December 2014. Mr. Duffy previously served as Rochester mayor from January 2006 to January 2011 and as Rochester police chief from March 1998 to April 2005, when he resigned his post to run for mayor. He joined the Rochester Police Department in November 1976. Mr. Duffy will be speaking on “The Right Mix” of the public, private and nonprofit sectors. How do the different sectors mix together and what considerations should be taken into account when designing relationships between these sectors. RSVP to

Mr. John Urban

Mr. Urban is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Greater Rochester Health Foundation. He has more than 30 years of experience in health care in New York State. His work has included establishing programs for chronically mentally ill people in Syracuse and serving as Deputy Commissioner in the NYS Office of Mental Health. He was the CEO of Preferred Care where he served for 20 years. Mr. Urban has served on a variety of community boards. In his capacity as CEO of the Health Foundation, Mr. Urban is committed to improving the health status of people and ensuring the Health Foundation is a good steward of this valuable community asset. RSVP to
