MPA Nonprofit Management Emphasis
NEW: MPA Nonprofit Management Emphasis printable flyer
The Department of Public Administration is pleased to announce that it will be offering an emphasis in Nonprofit Management beginning fall 2009.
The MPA program currently offers three other emphases: general public administration, health care management, and the public safety emphasis. The program also offers two graduate certificates: one in nonprofit management, the other in arts administration. (The certificate in arts administration is only available to matriculated MPA students and MFA students in the Visual Studies Workshop program.)
Students already matriculated in the MPA program may now choose the MPA Nonprofit Emphasis instead of one of these other emphases. Note: MPA matriculated students may choose either the MPA Nonprofit Emphasis or the Certificate in Nonprofit Management, but not both. In other words, MPA matriculated students may complete the Certificate in Nonprofit Management only if they are pursuing an emphasis other than the new MPA Nonprofit Emphasis.
