Counselor-in-Training |
After a very successful 2007 CIT class (ten participants), the program continues in 2008 with only a few minor changes. The CIT program consists of three levels. Benefits of the CIT program include:

A high-quality educational program that will teach participants the skills necessary to work with children and to be an effective camp counselor. |

| An opportunity to work as a team in a fun, safe environment with BKC campers, other CIT participants and The College at Brockport students and staff. | |
| An opportunity to improve important skills such as communication, leadership and decision making, as well as understanding the importance of responsibility. | |
| American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications. | |

| Click here to download and print a CIT application. A $50 deposit is required when submitting an application. The remaining registration fee is due no later than June 12. | |
| *Completion of the CIT program does not guarantee a junior counselor position. | |
| Required CIT training will be held on June 26 & 27. | |
| Program cost includes required certifications, apparel and a graduation banquet at the end of the summer for the participant. | |
