Competing during the halftime of the PAC 12 Football game on Friday night, Mehta outscored his opposition by throwing the most footballs into a giant Dr. Pepper can in 30 seconds.
The Physics major plans on using the tuition money to finance his education along with his brother's, and now has his sights set on a masters degree and possibly a doctorate.
The Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway is a program that has been run throughout the semester under the guidance of Recreational Services. Students have been awarded over $110,000 in scholarship money and prizes.
Club Sports Representative Wins $2,500 Scholarship Courtesy of Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway
Club Sport Representative Emily Copeland has received a $2,500 scholarship after participating in the Dr Pepper $1,000,000 tuition giveaway. Emily is a member of both the Equestrian and Fencing Clubs and completed her video application earlier this year during Club Craze.
