Registering Late
Registration during the first week of the semester:
If a student has not yet registered prior to the first day of a spring or fall semester and wishes to register starting on the first day of the semester through the first week, it is called a late registration. Students must first obtain a Late Registration Form from the Office of Registration and Records, get the instructor’s signature or Permission Key Number on the form for each course in which they wish to be registered and take the form to the Office of Registration and Records for processing by the published deadline. A $40 late registration fee is charged when registering for courses the first time, during the first week of the semester.
Registration during the second and/or third week of the semester:
If a student has not yet registered and wishes to register during the second and/or third week of the semester, it is also called a late registration. As in registration during the first week of the semester, the procedure is the same. Students must first obtain a Late Registration Form from the Office of Registration and Records, get the instructor’s signature on the form for each course in which they wish to be registered and take the form to the Office of Registration and Records for processing by the published deadline. However, a $40 late registration fee plus a $20 late add fee for a total of $60 in late fees is charged to register during the second and/or third week of the semester.
No registration is allowed after the third week of the semester.
Please check online at www.brockport.edu/registrar for the late registration form (during the late registration period), dates and deadlines.
