What do you love about Brockport?

I absolutely love the small-town feel that Brockport encompasses. Throughout my years at Brockport, I have been able to connect with a lot of different offices on campus and get to know others on a much more personal level. The faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

What's the best part of your job?

After being an R.A at Brockport for 3 years, it is nice being able to supervise and assist current Resident Assistants. My staff is full of energy and excitement and we have a lot of fun together. I really enjoy being able to work so closely with the students and help to make their college experience the most enjoyable that it can be. Most of the time I forget that this is my job!

What do you do for fun?

• I enjoy playing softball. I am actually in my final season of eligibility playing for the Brockport Softball Team. I love being around my family and friends, volunteering for multiple organizations, and attending sporting events at Brockport.  

Any advice for students?

My biggest piece of advice for students is to get involved on campus. There are so many awesome clubs and organizations on campus for people to be a part of. There really is something for everyone. Being a student at Brockport should be more than going to school. It should be one of the best experiences of your life. I got involved on campus right away and I didn’t regret it for a minute!
