About Mortimer Hall

  • Four, Five, and Six person suites
  • Each suite has two or three bedrooms, a common room, and a self-contained bathroom
  • Free laundry machines located on every floor
  • Study lounge located on every floor
  • Lounge (contains Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, TV) located on first floor
  • Large 12th floor Study Lounge with kitchen looks over the Erie Canal
  • Health Club located in basement
  • Staffed with eleven Resident Assistants (RAs) and one Resident Director (RD), who are excellent sources of information. They will treat you as individuals, help you make choices, support you in developing personal responsibility and concern for others, and help you to develop a plan for your academic success.

Mortimer Health Club is located in the basement of Mortimer Hall and is free to use for students who belong to Residence Council (only $15 to be a member for the year).  The Health Club has a variety of nautilus machines, aerobic workout sessions, professional and student staff, and special programs.  Programs available in the health club consisted of guest speakers, education, contests, and intramural activities.  Hours are posted in every residence hall.  See your RA or RD for more details.
